PostSubject: Sovereign Jet   Thu Apr 09, 2009 1:09 pm

This is our boy Jet,we got him as a broken down race horse. He had so much ability but really bad legs.We were lucky to have a go with this fella and also luck to live near the beach where we could swim him and get a little more racing out of him(he loved to race). He made his comeback at collie(a country track)and started of the back mark.Instructions were to let him roll around and see what happened, jet stormed home to win. After a few more starts and a massive second at 100/1 in city class company, then 4th against the tallented Aliveandwell, where jet came from last to run 4th in a race called the dash for cash, his legs started to give way again so it was off to the show ring for him.We love this little guy dearly,he's almost bombproof lol and in the shows to date has finished second in his first attempt then won supreme champion at his second, also finished runner-up overall in the supreme of supremes. He's done some riding class's with kym and finished 3 in all,not bad for a little guy that never knew how to canter in a circle lol

Great story Robert - a champion on and off the track.

As I have said, it is these horses that I admire the most and most richly deserve a loving home like yours.
