Well where to start I have heard so much about my little man over the last couple of months it is amazing, Well I suppose I should start with a little bit about him.

Red as he is affectionately known as now is a young 14 yr old 15.2hh Chestnut Gelding by Fake Left USA out of Charming Reminder, both of his parents of course are well known for breeding some pretty handy horses together, Red is a full brother to Cherry Cheer ($227,372), Rhapsody In Red ($167,715), Left In Red ($97,918) and Should be Red ($62,710). Although Red showed alot of ability as a race horse with winning his 1st start with a mile rate of 1.59.0MS pretty damn impressive I think, his little legs could not cope with the pressure of being a successful race horse like his brothers and sisters.

Before Red came to me he has spent his early life of retirement from the track, with his much loved owner Carolyn who has started the horse beautifully without Carolyn I doubt Red would be the horse he is today. Now he is with me I couldn't have found a better replacement for my now retired standy Ellie.

Red has become one of the favourites at my work with all the kids sneeking him carrots and apples every saturday which he loves, what am I saying he just loves attention full stop, he is such a sook lol. Anyways before I write a novel about him, we are now competing in all different disciplines from standy breed classes, eventing, dressage and I think we will be doing some more gymkhanas as he just loves the sporting lol.
